First successful transportation of the Turkey’s largest eccentric reducers produced for Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant has been realized by SUPERLIT
News / 1 July 2020
Superlit Pipe Industries, has successfully performed the first transportion of Turkey’s largest DN4000mm-DN3000mm reducers, which has been designed and produced as 10 pieces to be installed at Akkuyu NPP Sea Outfall Structure.
In Akkuyu NPP project, the installation of these reducers will be executed at -42m depth while the deepest section for the pipe installation is -50m. These eccentric reducers, which has been designed for long service life, will serve for the tapered diffuser structure while it will also discharge directly with its DN450 riser. With these reducers, Superlit will sign a success of being the first as largest reducers ever produced and ever installed in such depths.
Superlit is a solution partner in the ZİGANA Tunnel Project.. The installation of the special design SUPERLIT GRP pipes continues..

Superlit is a part of the solution with its special design GRP pipes in the ZİGANA Tunnel Project. Ventilation problem in the highway tunnel is covered by a special designed SUPERLIT GRP composite pipes of 3.1 m diameter lined inside the vertical ventilation shafts with a diameter of 3.6 m. Ventilation shafts are located at 3 different points along the tunnel and height of the shafts are ranging from 150 m to 400 m .
When compared to conventional lining methods - smooth interior surface of SUPERLIT GRP composite tubes allows smaller cross sectional area for ventilation. In addition to that, high mechanical properties and lightweight structure provides fast and safe installation. The project also stands out as an extraordinary project with its installation methodology and special installation accessories designed on GRP pipes.
When the 2x14.5 km along Double-Tube Motorway Tunnel is completed, it will be the longest tunnel in Europe with this feature, and will be the second longest tunnel in the world.
SUPERLIT continues supply of the Project in Morocco successfully, against all the changes under new environment of Covid-19 without any delay.
News / 26 August 2020
Superlit continues supply of the irrigation network at Agadir’s seawater desalination station as a part of the new development strategy for the agricultural sector, called “Green Generation 2020-2030 and a national strategy for water and forests of Morocco.” As of today; supply of 96km has been completed and 20km has already been installed successfully. Total 150km of supply has been targeted to be completed in 2020.
Superlit’s obligations of contract which are starting from manufacturing till delivering the pipes to trench including stocking and unnesting in Morocco, is also being performed with success against all the changes under new environment of COVİD-19 without any delay.
This project will make it possible to build the largest desalination plants in the Mediterranean and African region with an initial capacity of 275,000 cubic meters (m³) per day, including 150,000 m³ per day intended for drinking water and the rest will irrigate 15,000 hectares of land. The desalination plant also provides for the option of being operated on wind power promoting the drive towards the exploration of sustainable energy in Africa. We are proud of to be a solution partner of such an important project for the environment.
SUPERLIT GRP pipes have been chosen to give services to Stardalen Hydroelectrical Power Plant in Norway
News / 2 September 2020
SUPERLIT GRP pipes have been chosen to give services to Stardalen Hydroelectrical Power Plant in NORWAY which will utilize a total waterfall of 62m in Stardalselva River. In the power station, there will be installed 3 Francis turbines with a total output of about 17 MW and an annual production of about 50 GWh.
Within the scope of the project 2.6 kilometers of the SUPERLIT GRP pipes are DN 2700mm and DN 2400mm of pressure class PN10 and with ring stiffness SN 5000. Max water flow through pipes are 31 m3/s. The power plant will be put into operation in late 2020.
Superlit signature at Vytlak project in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia.
News / 10 September 2020
Project Bratislava Vytlak is realized as a part of big reconstruction project in Bratislava city, the capital of Slovakia. This is the biggest infrastructure project in last years in Slovakia.
As a part of this project many infrastructure constructions are being renovated. SUPERLIT has been selected for one of them as a supplier with approximately 1,3 km long GRP (Glass fiber Reinforced Polyester) pressure pipeline of DN 800mm diameter with pressure class PN10 bar and stiffness class SN 10 000. Certain part of the line is being designed with restraint joints where no (concrete) thrust blocks will be used in curves to prevent the line from moving. The construction of this line has been started.
SUPERLIT Lock-Joint GRP Coupling solutions are in MALTA.
News / 16 September 2020
SUPERLIT Lock-Joint GRP Coupling solutions are in MALTA. Superlit has started to deliveries of his awarded Project for the Supply of GRP Pipes and Fittings to be used for construction of an underground tunnel for upgrading of primary water network between Ta’Qali reservoir, San Gwan reservoir and Pembroke Reverse Osmosis in Malta.
Diameters of supply are DN 800mm , DN 1000mm and DN 1200mm in total quantity of 14 km with SUPERLIT Restraint Couplings. Restricted area inside the tunnel limits the usage of anchor thrust blocks over the pressure line. As a solution to this problem; GRP pipes and joints are designed as self restraint system. Full Face type of Lock-Joint GRP Coupling and bi-axial pipes are designed to operate for this PN 16 bar of high pressure pumping line.
Together with manufacturing of SUPERLIT has also taken a role in the project for design and commissioning of GRP Products.
