Sliding Coupling

The GRP Full-Face® Sliding Coupling, developed through SUPERLIT's R&D efforts, offers an excellent solution for pipe repair and closing installation gaps.

With its profile structure that can move in both directions, it is effective in the repair of damaged pipelines and solving technical problems such as intermediate closures. Made from corrosion-resistant GRP composite material, it provides long-lasting and reliable performance. SUPERLIT GRP Sliding Couplings offer watertightness and durability with an inner surface fully lined with an integrated EPDM gasket. They are designed to meet all performance criteria (angular deflection, pressure, external load, and vacuum) outlined in international standards (EN 1119, ISO 8639, and ASTM 4161). Thanks to the new gasket profile, the coupling can easily slide along the entire length of the pipe. SUPERLIT GRP Sliding Couplings are an ideal choice for those seeking flexibility, security, and a long-lasting solution.

Angular Deflection in GRP Couplings

SUPERLIT GRP Couplings combine flexibility and security in pipeline systems. Designed in accordance with EN 1119, ISO 8639, and ASTM 4161 performance criteria (angular deflection, pressure, external load, and vacuum), these couplings stand out for their ability to tolerate angular deflections during pipeline installation. The angular deflection values permitted by these standards make it easier to install pipes in challenging terrains and complex directions, eliminating the need for additional connection elements. SUPERLIT GRP Couplings provide this flexibility, speeding up the installation process while ensuring a long-lasting and leak-proof connection.
