Installation of GRP pipes manufactured by SUPERLIT for Shengjun Hydroelectric Power Plant in Kolse, Albania has started.
The total length of the pipes used for the 2.2 mW power plant is 3750 metres. DN1100, DN1200 and DN1300 diameter pipes with PN16 pressure class were specially manufactured for this project.
The first step of the partnership, which is thought to last for a long period, was thus taken.
SUPERLIT is the only pipe manufacturer in Turkey capable of producing glassfiber reinforced polyester (GRP) pipes using three different technologies: 'Continuous Filament Winding', 'Centrifugal Casting', and 'Helical Filament Winding'.
