The contract for the purchase of Balıkesir Bigadiç İlyaslar Plain Irrigation Construction Section 1 (Glass Reinforced Plastic - GRP Pipe) by the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works was signed on 23.02.2021 at DSİ 25th Regional Directorate. Within the scope of the project, 11,242 metres of SUPERLIT GRP (Glass Fibre Reinforced Polyester) Pipe and special parts will be purchased in total, which will be used for irrigation of 2,452 hectares of agricultural land.
SUPERLIT is the only pipe manufacturer in Turkey capable of producing glassfiber reinforced polyester (GRP) pipes using three different technologies: 'Continuous Filament Winding', 'Centrifugal Casting', and 'Helical Filament Winding'.
