Within the scope of the material procurement tender titled 'Hınıs Başköy Dam Irrigation Material Procurement 2nd Part (GRP Pipe)' carried out by the 8th Regional Directorate of DSİ, approximately 19 km long GRP pipes and fittings between DN600 - DN3400 diameters have been supplied to the construction site by Superlit and field fabrications are ongoing. The Hınıs Başköy Dam Irrigation Project aims to increase the total irrigation area to 205,350 decares and to make 50,000 decares of agricultural land ready for irrigation in the first phase.
