At the end of approximately 3 years of work, a handshake was signed with one of Europe's leading contractors for the use of SUPERLIT GRP pipes in the 'Doraleh Desalination Project' in Djibouti, East Africa.
The first deliveries for the project, which includes approximately 9.5 km of pipework with a diameter of DN700 mm, were completed in July 2018. All of the pipes to be used in the transmission of drinking water from the treatment plant to the city are planned to be shipped by the end of 2018.
SUPERLIT is the only pipe manufacturer in Turkey capable of producing glassfiber reinforced polyester (GRP) pipes using three different technologies: 'Continuous Filament Winding', 'Centrifugal Casting', and 'Helical Filament Winding'.
