Initiated by the DSİ 11th Regional Directorate in Edirne in 2013, the Hamzadere Irrigation Project encompasses an irrigation network covering 19,157 hectares and includes 6 pumping stations. To date, 10,617 hectares of the area have been made operational and transferred to the Irrigation Union.

To irrigate the remaining 8,500 hectares, the tender for Phase 2 of the project was held in February 2024, awarded to the Derinsu A.Ş. + Baytimur Joint Venture. As part of the project, 26,443 meters of GRP pipes and fittings with diameters ranging from DN 600 to DN 1400 will be supplied by Superlit.

Production and deliveries are continuing at full pace, with the aim of benefiting 17 settlements upon project completion, according to DSİ records.
