SUPERLIT Demonstrates Its Strength in the Zhyrgalan Hydroelectric Power Plant Project in Kyrgyzstan!

Dec 1, 2025

As part of the Zhyrgalan Hydroelectric Power Plant, located in the Zhyrgalan region of Karakol, Kyrgyzstan, the installation of GRP pipes with diameters ranging from DN1400 to DN1800, pressure classes PN 6-10-16-20-25, and stiffness class SN5000, has commenced.

A total of 7.5 km of GRP pipelines will be installed in the project, and as of now, approximately 50% of the work has been completed. Installation is currently ongoing along the DN1700 / PN6 / SN5000 pipeline route.

Once completed, this environmentally friendly power plant is expected to generate 8 Megawatts of electricity, contributing significantly to the region’s energy needs.

💧 With their durable structure, high pressure and stiffness capacities, SUPERLIT GRP pipes continue to be the most reliable solution for hydropower projects.

🌍 Having left its mark on projects across five continents, SUPERLIT is proud to invest in the future with sustainable infrastructure solutions.
