Aiming to improve the sewerage system of Balbala region of Djibouti, which has shown a significant population growth since the early 2000s, Djibouti Water and Sewerage Administration ONEAD has signed a project aiming to improve the health conditions of the people living in the region.
The project, financed by the Government of Djibouti, the European Union and the French Development Agency, will build a new closed sewerage system and provide better sanitary conditions for 11500 people living in the region.
SUPERLIT, which was preferred for the Balbala Sud-T1 Waste Water Sewerage Project, shipped approximately 11 km of glass fibre reinforced polyester (GRP) pipes with diameters ranging from DN300 to DN800 to Djibouti in August. SUPERLIT will also provide supervision services in Djibouti during the laying of the pipes.
SUPERLIT is the only pipe manufacturer in Turkey capable of producing glassfiber reinforced polyester (GRP) pipes using three different technologies: 'Continuous Filament Winding', 'Centrifugal Casting', and 'Helical Filament Winding'.
SUPERLIT is a subsidiary of KARAMANCI HOLDING.
