SUPERLIT in MALTA with Locked Sleeve Solutions. SUPERLIT, with its GRP production technology and project-specific product solutions, has started deliveries of GRP Pipes and Fittings to be used in the construction of the underground tunnel to be built for the development of the primary water network between Ta'Qali and San Gwan Reservoirs and Pembroke Reverse Osmosis.

Within the scope of the project, design, production and delivery of 14 km of GRP Pipes and Fittings in DN 1200mm, DN 1000mm and DN 800mm diameters will be realised. The fact that the pipeline is in a tunnel does not allow the use of fixing mass at the turning points exposed to high pressures. In order to solve this problem, GRP Pipes and Fittings are designed as a system that can carry axial loads without the need for a fixing mass. In PN 16 bar pumping line, GRP pipes are designed as Bi-Axial and pipe connections will be made with Superlit Full Face Locking Sleeves.
