Superlit Boru ve Harran Üniversitesi Dünya Su Günü’nde Sosyal Sorumluluk için Bir Araya Geldi

On 22 March World Water Day, we are taking an important step to draw attention to the importance of water resources and raise awareness about water! Superlit Boru San. A.Ş., together with the esteemed academicians of Harran University Agricultural Structures and Irrigation Department, we came together to explain the value of water to students and discuss its effects on the sustainability of agriculture with our "World Water Day - Our Source of Life Water" conference at the events we organised at GAP Agricultural Vocational High School and Istiklal Secondary School.

As part of this meaningful event, we emphasise the importance of water and agriculture and demonstrate our commitment to leaving a sustainable world to future generations. Together with Harran University, we are very happy to come together with young generations who will shape our future to prevent environmental damage by increasing agricultural productivity and resource utilisation efficiency in this important event that reaches young minds and raises awareness on water.

Global warming, climate change and water scarcity pose serious threats to our present and future. As Superlit Boru, we are determined to protect our water resources and step into a more sustainable future. We are aware that water, the most valuable resource of life, is limited and of great importance for the future of humanity and sustainable progress. As Superlit, we will continue to work to ensure that every drop of water we carry with the pipes we produce is not wasted due to the change in climatic conditions and increasing droughts every year.

We would like to thank all the academicians of the Department of Agricultural Structures and Irrigation who contributed to this project we carried out in Şanlıurfa together with Harran University, Prof. Dr. Ali Rıza Öztürkmen, Head of the Department and Provincial Representative of Tema Foundation, Çağlar Kan, Principal of Gap Agricultural Vocational High School and Fazlı Uğur, Principal of İstiklal Secondary School. We are happy that we were able to raise awareness about the importance of water, its use in agricultural irrigation and modern irrigation systems to 500 students in total and we are determined to continue these projects.

We recognise the importance of water for sustainability and the future of humanity. We will continue to play an active role in the fight against water scarcity that threatens our planet. Let's all do our best to protect our water resources and step into a more sustainable future from today and carry our responsibility to create a livable world for future generations together!"
