Aug 20, 2020

As a solution partner for the construction of Agadir facilities, where seawater will be desalinated and used in the agricultural irrigation network, which is part of Morocco's new development strategy for the agricultural sector called 'National Strategy for Water and Forests; Green Generation 2020-2030', pipe deliveries continue successfully under new and challenging conditions due to Covid-19. The installation of 20 km of the 96 km of pipe shipped so far has been successfully completed and the project is planned to be completed in 2020 with a total shipment of 150 km.

As the solution partner of the project, SUPERLIT; successfully manages and maintains the entire process from production, shipment, stocking and unloading of pipes in Morocco, even under the new and challenging conditions that have changed due to Covid-19.

The project will enable the construction of the largest desalination plants in the Mediterranean and Africa region, providing an initial capacity of 275,000 m³ of desalinated water per day, with 150,000 m³ per day for drinking water and the remaining amount to be used for irrigation of 15,000 hectares of agricultural land. This project will also offer the option to be operated with Wind Power, promoting sustainable energy in Africa. We are proud to be the solution partner of such an important project for the environment.
