Upon the request of the DSİ 25th Regional Directorate, a comprehensive training seminar was organized by SUPERLIT in Balıkesir for DSİ technical personnel, branch directorates, and control engineers.

During the training, the production technologies of Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) pipes were explained in detail, along with the reasons why these pipes are preferred in potable water, irrigation, and infrastructure projects. The presentation also included technical and economic comparisons between GRP and steel pipes, as well as key considerations during installation and practical solutions to specific challenges encountered in the field.

Delivered within the framework of SUPERLIT’s more than half a century of experience and industry leadership, the training aimed to strengthen participants’ field application knowledge and contribute to more efficient project execution.

Following the training, a site visit was conducted together with the site authorities of ULUOVA İNŞAAT A.Ş. and the SUPERLIT team at the “Balıkesir Savaştepe Sarıbeyler Irrigation Rehabilitation Construction Project.” Participants had the opportunity to observe pipe installation and assembly practices on-site.
