Mr Joseph Mizzi, Minister of Energy and Water of Malta, who came to our country to attend the opening ceremony of Istanbul Airport, visited Superlit's head office in Istanbul during his visit.
During his visit, the Minister discussed the pipeline to be laid in a tunnel connecting the Ta' Qali Group reservoirs with the Pembroke reverse osmosis (RO) desalination plant in Malta, whose pipes will be manufactured by SUPERLIT. The project aims to provide better quality drinking water in Malta, as well as reducing electricity consumption and saving tonnes of CO2 per year. The project is managed by the Malta Water Authority, Water Services Corporation (WSC) and financed by European Union funding.
We are grateful to the Minister for giving us the opportunity to present our pipes and solutions, which are preferred in 5 continents for many different applications such as drinking water, sewerage, energy, rainwater drainage, etc., despite his very busy schedule.
SUPERLIT is the only pipe manufacturer in Turkey capable of producing glassfiber reinforced polyester (GRP) pipes using three different technologies: 'Continuous Filament Winding', 'Centrifugal Casting', and 'Helical Filament Winding'.
SUPERLIT is a subsidiary of KARAMANCI HOLDING.
