The ventilation problem in the highway tunnel is solved by lining 3.1 m diameter specially designed SUPERLIT GRP composite pipes with a diameter of 3.1 m in vertical ventilation shafts with a diameter of 3.6 m at 3 different points along the tunnel, ranging from 150 m to 400 m in height. Thanks to its smooth inner surface, SUPERLIT GRP composite coating pipes, which provide the required air flow in smaller sections compared to conventional coating methods, allow fast and safe installation thanks to its high strength and light weight. The project also stands out as an extraordinary project with its assembly methodology and assembly accessories designed on the cladding pipes.

When the 2 x 14.5 km long double-tube road tunnel is completed, it will be the longest tunnel in Europe and the second longest tunnel in the world.
